DKC

Tony Gravley of Next Generation K9
Is returning to DKC for a two-day Scent Work Workshop
UNDERSTANDING COMMUNICATION

DATE: July 8 and 9, 2023
WHERE: Durham Kennel Club, 7318 Guess Road, Hillsborough, NC

Tony Gravley’s training plan is directly modified from his years of training detection dogs and teams. His prior Search Monster Workshop tapped into problem solving and giving dogs the tools to solve problems and give them the motivation to get to source. Going forward to Understanding Commu-nication, even you will see where the path of the odor is going. You will also see the communication before and beyond the alert. Both your training plan and your trailing will greatly benefit from the knowledge.
Tony Gravley is well known for his excellence in the professional detection/protection dog world as handler, trainer, breeder and program manager in both Military, Law Enforcement, Federal Government Contracted Canine - industry settings. He is known in companion dog scent sports as trainer, handler, instructor and judge. Critical to companion dog search teams, Tony understands how our dogs are the same as – and different from – professional working dogs. Tony brings his unique expe-rience and skills for a weekend of learning and working with our dogs.
